Terms of Service

These terms apply to MenuTap, a software service for cafes and restaurants, provided by Ankush Choudhary ("we"). By creating an account you agree to them.

The service

MenuTap lets a restaurant publish a QR menu, take orders, bill at the counter, show a UPI QR code and see sales reports. It runs in a web browser and phone apps.

Accounts

You must give accurate details and keep your password safe. You are responsible for what you and your staff do in your account.

Plans and payment

New restaurants get a 14-day free trial with no card needed. After the trial the restaurant moves to the Free plan unless it subscribes. Paid plans (Cafe, Founding cafe, Cafe Pro) are paid in advance for one month or one year through Razorpay, at the price shown in the app, including GST where applicable. Plans do not renew automatically: when the paid period ends, the restaurant moves to the Free plan until you pay again. Paying early adds the new period to the time you already have. We will tell you before any price change takes effect.

Payments from your customers

Payments made by your customers by UPI or cash go directly to you. We do not hold, process or take any commission on them, and we are not a party to transactions between you and your customers. You are responsible for confirming that you received a payment.

Your content

You own your menu, photos and data. You give us permission to store and display them to run the service. Do not upload content you do not have the right to use.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, attempt to access other restaurants' data, or use it for anything unlawful.

AI features

The menu assistant uses AI to suggest menu changes and to estimate nutrition values. Suggestions are only applied when you tap Apply. Nutrition values are estimates; check them before relying on them.

Availability

We work to keep the service running but cannot promise it will always be available or error-free.

Liability

To the extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending the service

You can stop using the service at any time and delete your account in the app. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Rudrapur (Udham Singh Nagar), Uttarakhand have jurisdiction.
