Privacy Policy

This policy explains what MenuTap collects and how it is used.

What we collect

• Restaurant owners and staff: email, name you enter, restaurant details, UPI ID, menu, photos, tables and orders.
• Customers of a restaurant: the items they order and an optional name or note. We do not ask customers to sign up.
• Technical data: basic logs needed to keep the service secure and working.

How we use it

Only to run the service: showing menus, taking orders, billing, reports, support and subscription billing. We do not sell personal data.

Service providers

We use Supabase (database and login), Vercel (website hosting), Razorpay (subscription payments), Google Gemini or Anthropic (AI menu assistant; menu text and photos you send to it) and an email provider for login emails. They process data only to provide their services to us.

Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account in the app, your restaurant's data is deleted.

Your rights

You can see and change your data in the app, export your sales, or ask us to correct or delete it by writing to kushchoudhary2611@gmail.com.

Security

Data is stored with access controls so each restaurant can see only its own data. No system is perfectly secure; tell us at once if you notice a problem.
